任务 and Responsibilities

的 Office of the 教务长 and Vice President for Academic Affairs is dedicated to serving the students, faculty and staff of 的 College of Saint Rose.  Our service responsibilities flow directly from the 大学的使命, its 战略计划 and assorted policies and procedures related to our academic programs.  的 Office is responsible for supporting such functions as:

的 Office of the 教务长 oversees such functions as:

• Quality assurance of academic programs as well as the 图书馆, Information Technology 服务, International 项目, 注册主任, and various Centers and Institutes
• Shared governance of faculty and administration
• 教师 recruitment, hiring, evaluations, and development
• College strategic planning
• Assessment and program registration in concert with the New York State Education Department, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, and professional accrediting bodies
• Coordination of academic programs and initiatives with other Saint Rose entities, including the Student Association, 学生事务, Enrollment Management, 公共关系, 金融, 政府, 进步, the President’s Office, and the Representative Committee of the 教师
• Nurturing a collegial and dynamic community of scholars and artists
